Papa abraça Lucas, brasileiro curado por milagre de Pastorinhos de Fátima

Lucas, de 9 anos, sofreu um traumatismo craniano quando tinha 5 anos, após cair de uma janela. Segundo o pai dele, após orações aos beatos Francisco e Jacinta, o menino se recuperou sem sequelas.

Abraço entre o Santo Padre, o Papa Francisco, e o menino brasileiro Lucas, curado milagrosamente por intercessão de São Francisco e Santa Jacinta Marto, pastorinhos de Fátima, marcou o sábado (13) no Santuário de Fátima.

Integrando o cortejo do ofertório da missa, Lucas, acompanhado pelos pais e irmã, dirigiu-se ao altar do recinto, onde foi acolhido por Francisco. Também ao altar se dirigiu um compatriota do papa argentino, Jorge, funcionário do Santuário de Fátima. Jorge chegou ao altar acompanhado da mulher, uma portuguesa, e os dois filhos do casal, chamados Francisco e Jacinta. Integraram também o cortejo do ofertório dois outros jovens.

O TESTEMUNHO

Na quinta-feira (11), o pai de Lucas, João Batista, contou emocionado a história da cura do filho. “Damos graças a Deus pela cura do Lucas e sabemos com toda a fé do nosso coração, que foi obtido este milagre pelos Pastorinhos Francisco e Jacinta”, salientou João Batista, o pai do jovem Lucas, falando em seu nome e da sua mulher , Lucila Yurie. O casal brasileiro concedeu entrevista coletiva na manhã dessa quinta-feira na cidade de Fátima, em Portugal.

“Mas sobretudo sentimos a bênção da amizade destas duas crianças, que ajudaram o nosso menino e agora ajudam a nossa família”, acrescentou no seu testemunho.Os agradecimentos são também dirigidos a todos os profissionais de saúde que se ocuparam do caso e a todas as pessoas que rezaram pelo seu filho, bem como à Postulação da Canonização dos dois beatos e ao Santuário de Fátima.

O caso ocorreu às 20h do 3 de março de 2013, quando Lucas, então com cinco anos, caiu de uma janela, de uma altura de 6.50 metros. “Ele bateu com a cabeça no chão e fez um traumatismo craniano grave, com perda de tecido cerebral no lóbulo frontal esquerdo”, relatou, referindo que o filho foi internado em coma muito grave, sofrendo duas paradas cardíacas. Os médicos chegaram a dar poucas esperanças de sobrevivência.

“Começamos a rezar para Jesus e Nossa Senhora de Fátima, a quem temos muita devoção. No dia seguinte, ligamos para o Carmelo de Campo Mourão (no Paraná) pedindo que as irmãs que rezassem por Lucas. A irmã que recebeu o telefonema não passou o recado” pensando que a criança não iria sobreviver, contou, indicando que a mensagem só foi passada à comunidade no dia seguinte.

“Uma irmã correu para as relíquias dos Beatos Francisco e Jacinta, que estavam junto do Sacrário e sentiu esse impulso de oração: “Pastorinhos, salvem esse menino, que é uma criança como vocês”. Conseguiu convencer toda a comunidade do Carmelo a rezar apenas com a intercessão dos Pastorinhos”, relatou.

“Assim fizeram. Da mesma forma como todos nós, na família, começamos a rezar aos Pastorinhos e, dois dias depois, no dia 9 de março, Lucas foi desentubado e acordou bem, lúcido, e começou a falar, perguntado pela sua irmãzinha. No dia 11 de março saiu da UTI e dia 15 ele teve alta”, disse João Batista, pai do garoto.

Uma cura, referiu, para a qual os médicos, mesmo os não-crentes, não conseguem encontrar explicação. A criança está completamente bem, “sem nenhum sintoma ou sequela”: “O que o Lucas era antes do acidente ele o é agora: sua inteligência, seu caráter, é tudo igual”.

Boa tarde a todos

Meu nome é João Batista. Esta é a minha esposa, Lucila Yurie. Estamos aqui para dividir asinformações sobre o caso do Lucas.

No dia 3 de março de 2013, por volta das 20.00 horas, o nosso filho Lucas, que estava brincando com a sua irmãzinha Eduarda, caiu de uma janela, de uma altura de aproximadamente 6.50 metros. Na época, ele tinha 5 anos.

Bateu com a cabeça no chão e fez um traumatismo craniano grave, com perda de tecido cerebral no lóbulo frontal esquerdo.

Foi assistido na nossa cidade, em Juranda, e dada a gravidade do seu quadro clínico, ele foi transferido para o hospital de Campo Mourão, no Paraná.

O percurso demorou por volta de uma hora.

Chegou em coma muito grave. Teve duas paragens cardíacas enquanto era anestesiado para a cirurgia e foi operado de urgência. Os médicos diziam que ele tinha poucas probabilidades de sobreviver.

Começamos a rezar a Jesus e a Nossa Senhora de Fátima, a quem temos muita devoção. No dia seguinte ligamos para o Carmelo de Campo Mourão, pedindo que as irmãs rezassem pelo Lucas. A irmã que recebeu o telefonema, ela não passou o recado porque ela sentiu que o Lucas não ia aguentar. Então ela fez apenas uma oração para confortar a gente.

Os dias passavam e o Lucas estava piorando. O quadro dele não evoluía. No dia 6 de março os médicos pensaram na transferência para um hospital maior, uma vez que nem havia os cuidados necessários para a sua idade. Disseram-nos que as possibilidades de o menino sobreviver eram baixas e que se sobrevivesse teria uma recuperação muito demorada, ficando certamente com graves deficiências cognitivas ou mesmo em estado vegetativo.

No dia 7 voltamos a ligar para o Carmelo. Nesse dia, a irmã transmitiu o recado à comunidade. Uma irmã correu para as relíquias dos Beatos Francisco e Jacinta, que estavam junto do Sacrário, e sentiu esse impulso no coração. E disse: “Pastorinhos, salvem esse menino, que é uma criança como vocês”. Conseguiu convencer toda a comunidade do Carmelo a rezar com ela apenas a intercessão dos Pastorinhos.

Assim fizeram. Da mesma forma como todos nós, na família, começamos a rezar aos Pastorinhos e, dois dias depois, no dia 9 de março o Lucas foi desentubado e acordou bem, lúcido, e começou a falar, perguntado pela sua irmãzinha. No dia 11 de março saiu da UTI e dia 15 ele teve alta.

Está completamente bem, sem nenhum sintoma ou sequela. O que o Lucas era antes do acidente ele o é agora: sua inteligência, seu caráter, é tudo igual.

Os médicos, incluindo alguns não crentes, disseram não ter explicação para essa recuperação.

Eu queria aqui agradecer aos profissionais de saúde que acompanharam o caso do Lucas, bem como à Postulação de Francisco e Jacinta Marto, na pessoa da Irmã Ângela, por todo o cuidado que prestaram durante todo esse processo até à canonização.

Agradecemos também ao Santuário de Fátima, na pessoa do padre Carlos Cabecinhas. No entanto, não podemos deixar de agradecer a todos aqueles que rezaram pelo Lucas.

Damos graças a Deus pela cura do Lucas e sabemos com toda a fé do nosso coração, que foi obtido este milagre pelos Pastorinhos Francisco e Jacinta.

Sentimos uma imensa alegria por ser este o milagre que os levou à canonização, mas sobretudo sentimos a bênção da amizade dessas duas crianças, que ajudaram o nosso menino e agora ajudam a nossa família.
